GRAND RAPIDS – The focus of the June meeting for AimWest, a Grand Rapids area technology marketing group, will be on West Michigan’s burgeoning film industry with State Rep. Bill Huizinga, sponsor of the legislation that provided tax incentives to film crews to shoot in Michigan.
Rep. Huizinga will discuss:
The incentives offered to film producers
The impact to our local economy
Opportunities for existing businesses
Supporting a new film industry in West Michigan

Also at the meeting, Next month, AimWest we will ask its members to elect three new board members to fill open positions. Steve Goulet, Kim Bode, and John Mason, our current president, will all step down effective June 1.
