GRAND RAPIDS ? aimWest is partnering with PRSA on March 20 to hear a talk from Lt. Matthew Allen on Crisis Communications from the perspective of the U.S. Navy.
The event begins in the Overlook Room on the third floor of the Grand Rapids Public Museum for munchies and networking at 5:30 pm. The event moves downstairs to the Meijer Theater at 6:15 for the speaker.
aimWest members and aimWest interested parties can sign up on aimWest’s site. PRSA and aimWest members are free for this one of a kind event, and $20 for non-members. The first 140 people that sign up get seats, so sign up now.
Lt. Allen has acted as an operations officer and then as a media relations officer in the Persian Gulf and now sits on the Navy’s News Desk in Washington DC. He brings a unique perspective on Public Relations in today’s military.
