ANN ARBOR – The Ann Arbor Angels, focused on investing in promising startups in the greater Ann Arbor region, is developing a new web site that the group hopes will better connect with entrepreneurs and investors.
The group, supported by the Bank of Ann Arbor, the University of Michigan, and Ann Arbor SPARK, also are in the process of renewing its angel memberships and solidifying its strategic and venture capital community partnerships, said Executive Director Michael Cole.
Cole said the Ann Arbor Angels has adopted AngelSoft to help manager online company applications and to provide angel members with significantly more network information.
The group, which came close to dissolving more than a year ago, hosted a successful investor presentation meeting in June where 30 attendees viewed a live demonstration of the presenting company�??s technology at an installed customer location.
