ANN ARBOR – Ann Arbor SPARK’s Business Accelerator is now accepting applications for its next Entrepreneur Boot Camp, scheduled October 29 – 30. Teams interested in participating in the two-day business planning and preparation event must submit applications by September 30.
“Entrepreneur Boot Camp always fills up because of the distinct value it offers to emerging businesses,” said Michael Finney, Ann Arbor SPARK CEO. “Providing access to resources that help businesses refine their business plan and prepare for growth is key to helping support our region as a high-tech hub.”
Entrepreneur Boot Camp, now in its 14th installment, is designed to help early stage technology businesses increase their chances for attracting additional funding, finding resources and achieving success. A unique combination of hands-on learning and one-on-one mentoring, the event features nationally noted speakers on entrepreneurship, successful local entrepreneurs and investors.
At the completion of Entrepreneur Boot Camp, participating teams get an opportunity to present their company to an investor panel. The team judged as the best opportunity will win an initial engagement at the Ann Arbor SPARK Business Accelerator valued at $5,000.
Entrepreneur Boot Camp will be held in Ann Arbor at the Michigan Information Technology Center (MITC). The cost for a two-person team is $995 and includes valuable reference materials, all meals and access to a post-Boot Camp celebration.
Applications for Entrepreneur Boot Camp, as well as information on related events and resources are available at www.annarborspark.org. Early application is recommended in order to participate in pre-Boot Camp offerings, including events and online resources.
