SOUTHFIELD ? The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE-Detroit) are hosting an event Wednesday at the Weston Southfield that will examine the public and closely held auto suppliers poised for purchase in Michigan and Canada.
Attorney Walawender who leads the global team at the law firm of Miller Canfield in Detroit and will also discuss the U.S. Economic development and government incentives available to businesses. Walawender, who helped establish Miller Canfield’s first European offices in Poland in 1992, recently completed the acquisition of the automotive operations of Teleflex Inc. by Kongsberg Automotive of Oslo, Norway.
He will be joined by Raj Kothari, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Seneca Partners who will discuss investment options and strategies available to companies taking advantage of today’s dynamic M&A marketplace. Vijay Mony, Executive in Accenture?s Automotive and Industrial Equipment Practice, will discuss post-merger integration and operations issues.
The event runs from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Westin Southfield Hotel, 1500 Town Center. The cost is $30 to attend.
