GEORGETOWN
TOWNSHIP – Automated Machine Systems Tuesday announced the construction of a
41,250 square foot manufacturing facility in the Georgetown Industrial Center.
The company will invest $2 million dollars in the expansion project.
Automated
Machine Systems, a design and supply integrator providing automation, computerization,
and software solutions has already experienced significant growth over this past
season and expects to create up to 12 new jobs in the next two years due to
this expansion.

important step forward for our company,” said Kris Chayer, founder and
president of Automated Machine Systems, INC. “Our new building will allow us to
grow the business by creating efficiencies and expansion opportunities for many
years to come.”
Lakeshore
Advantage worked side by side with the Automated Machine Systems on their growth
plans.

In support
of the expansion and its economic impact, Georgetown Charter Township has granted
a 12 year $1.6 million tax abatement for Automated Machine Systems.

their business with a new 41,250 square foot building with a 67,903 future
proposed addition within the Industrial Park. This is a great invest in the
community and an opportunity to create jobs. The Township Board looks forward
to the positive economic impact the business will have on the area,” said
Daniel Carlton, Manager of Georgetown Township.
