TROY – The Center for Automotive Research, in partnership with Automation Alley and the U.S. Department of Commerce Automotive Team are hosting a trade mission to South Korea in November focused on original equipment automotive sector companies. Registration closes on Oct. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.

Suppliers of automotive parts and services, production equipment and technology, as well as community and economic development representatives, are encouraged to participate.

Benefits of participating in the trade mission include counseling by CAR and the U.S. Department of Commerce; a U.S. Embassy briefing on the commercial, economic and political environment of South Korea; activities at the KOAASHOW 2011 (Korea Autoparts & Auto-related Industries Show), factory tours and presentations at Hyundai, GM Daewoo, KIA and SSang Yong; a high-level business networking reception at the residence of the U.S. Ambassador to Korea; matchmaking meetings with pre-screened companies selected for each participant and more.

Dates: Nov. 14-18

Cost: $4,700 per qualifying company (nonrefundable and excludes travel costs)
