TROY ? Brian McGinnity was elected president of Automation Alley Thursday at the technology business association’s annual meeting at the Troy Marriott. Five new board members also were elected.

McGinnity, director & executive vice president of HIROTEC AMERICA, will serve a two-year term as president. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing the board of directors and serve as Automation Alley’s official representative in the community and at events.

“I am extremely honored to be selected by Automation Alley’s board of directors to lead the organization for the next two years,” said McGinnity. “As we lead the region to prosperity, I’m eager to work with the staff at Automation Alley and its membership to promote growth in Southeast Michigan’s technology industry and further economic development for the region.”
