TROY ?? Automation Alley has finally rolled out its newly redesigned web site with enhanced navigation. The new Web site offers users quick links to popular Alley benefits and services, an updated search function, and a more convenient member login.

Designed by Plante & Moran, the new site also allows members to make changes to the press release and calendar of event postings. Users no longer have to insert HTML coding and can now easily cut and paste text, add paragraph breaks, and create bulleted and numbered list.

“In a continuing effort to maintain member satisfaction, we structured our new site to be much more user friendly and robust, with enhanced graphics and layouts that provide an improved user experience,” said Ken Rogers, executive director. “With more than 85,000 monthly visits, we felt it was time to update and improve our largest channel of communication. Our members and online visitors will now have access to a more vibrant and seamless view of Automation Alley and all of its resources.”

The new site also incorporates Automation Alley’s updated brand identity, and includes a Foundation Member Directory, and easily identifiable committee and advocacy sections.

Automation Alley had hoped to unveil its new-look web site in time for the January annual meeting, but development was delayed.
