TROY – Watch up-and-coming entrepreneurs present their business plans, and then join in the discussion as Automation Alley hosts the Entrepreneurial Initiative of Southeast Michigan Entrepreneur’s Forum May 20 from 8-11 a.m. in Troy.
The Entrepreneur’s Forum features business plan presentations by emerging technology-driven companies. The short presentations are critiqued by venture capitalists, angel investors and business professionals, who provide constructive criticism and guidance. This session of EISEM will feature companies from Bizdom Detroit, an entrepreneurship accelerator which provides comprehensive real-world training, mentorship and support for entrepreneurs.
?We?re excited to once again host EISEM and highlight these local entrepreneurs and their businesses,? said Tom Kelly, Automation Alley director of entrepreneurship, who will moderate the event. ?They all have a passion and determination to build a growth-oriented business in the city of Detroit, and our hope is that this forum will allow them to further develop their message to reach customers and investors.?
Presenting companies will include:
GreenLancer Energy, an e-commerce platform that gives contractors the ability to dramatically reduce the time it takes to develop clean-energy projects.
Cribspot, an online platform for college renters and property managers that streamlines the entire off-campus housing process.
Backstitch, a platform for automatically curating content from across the Web around specific interests, events, people and topics.
Foodjunky, an online platform for ordering food. It makes the process easy for individuals, groups and catering.
