Build a 2009 marketing plan for your company at Automation Alley’s Marketing Plan Bootcamp. This interactive one-day seminar has been designed to walk attendees through building a marketing plan from beginning to end. Attendees will leave with a marketing plan set for the upcoming year.

B2B Business Development Series: Customer Relationship Management Software, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Automation Alley Headquarters, 2675 Bellingham, Troy, 48083. $20 for Automation Alley members/ $40 for non-members. Learn more about the importance of customer relationship management (CRM) software, the various applications available, and the impact of different parts of the business.

EISEM Entrepreneur’s Forum, 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Automation Alley Headquarters, 2675 Bellingham, Troy, 48083. There is no cost to attend. The Entrepreneurial Initiative of Southeast Michigan (EISEM) Entrepreneur’s Forum works to highlight local entrepreneurs and further develop their message to reach customers and investors. The event will feature a keynote presentation from Dr. Aaron Crumm of Adaptive Materials, and business plan presentations by emerging companies including Clean Emission Fluids, Great Lakes Carbon Fiber (GLCF), and Hygieia.

Top Talent in Tough Times: Finding and Keeping Great Employees in Southeast Michigan, 7:30 – 10:00 a.m. at Automation Alley Headquarters, 2675 Bellingham, Troy, 48083. $10 for Automation Alley members/$20 for non-members. This program will include an overview of what it means to be an employer of choice, a presentation of the results of a survey of local employers, and a practical plan for putting these programs into place. There will also be a panel discussion with employers who have seen positive results from their attraction and retention efforts.
