TROY – Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association, announced that it has restructured with the promotion of three staff members ? Charles DeVries, Alysia Green, Katie Mullin.

DeVries has been promoted to Senior Director, Business Development. He is now responsible for forging relationships with elected officials, businesses, foundations, the press and government at all levels and will provide strategic advice, counsel and support for Automation Alley management. DeVries’ previous title was Director, Government Affairs.

Green, formerly the Workforce Development Supervisor, now holds the new position of Manager, Talent Development. She is responsible for administering Automation Alley programming and managing all workforce development initiatives. Green also recently became a Certified Business Solutions Professional (C.B.S.P.), a certificate that allows Green to educate economic development, workforce development and education professionals in retaining and creating jobs in local communities.

Additionally, Mullin is now serving as the Alley’s new Manager, Marketing and Communications. Her duties involve managing all aspects of Automation Alley’s internal and external communications, as well as marketing collateral and advertising. Her previous title was Marketing and Communications Coordinator.

“I am confident in our employees’ new positions. They each embrace a strong record of work ethic, leadership and dedication to our organization,” said Ken Rogers, executive director. “They will provide key direction and vision as we grow in 2011.”
