TROY – Automation Alley is looking for eight companies to participate in its Trade Mission to Indonesia and Singapore in September. The registration deadline is July 26 at close of business.

Indonesia and Singapore are both experiencing a population boom, a surge in new development and an emerging middle class with spending power. Indonesia is seeking to invest $250 billion in its rapidly expanding infrastructure, according to export.gov. Singapore was recently named ?the world?s easiest place to do business,? according to the World Bank. In addition to the growth of this region, both Indonesia and Singapore are trade hubs and gateways to doing business in other Asian countries.

?It is an exciting time to be doing business in Southeast Asia. Our hope is that local Michigan companies will take advantage of this opportunity to expand into these dynamic markets,? said Automation Alley Executive Director Ken Rogers. ?Automation Alley trade missions are second to none. We demystify exporting and anticipate companies? needs and wants. We have a track record of success in helping companies secure millions of dollars in export sales.?

The cost to participate is $7,995 and is subject to change based on availability. Ask about the State Trade and Export Promotion program, which can provide companies with funding that can be applied toward the cost of the trade mission.
