SOUTHFIELD ? Bagger Dave’s, a self-styled ultra casual chain of restaurants primarily in Michigan, has hired ePrize to develop a loyalty and in-store rewards program aimed at boring down exactly into what customers want ? and rewarding one with $10,000 in cash on New Year?s Eve.
Customers register in Bagger Dave?s Fresh Rewards program via microsite registration, text or by scanning an in-store QR code. Once enrolled, they are rewarded by checking in at any Bagger Dave?s location, purchasing specific products, rating their dining experience, referring friends, or sharing the program via Twitter or Facebook.
Bagger Dave?s management will then conduct digital customer survey that will pack its database with useful demographic information, particularly from its target audience of young professionals aged 18-35. From this group, the company could create products that more closely match their tastes, or new products, both of which could help increase the bottom line.
The mobile program also includes dynamic instant win game experiences with a variety of rewards. These include gift certificates, along with big ticket prizes such as $10,000 to use toward a holiday shopping spree that will be awarded on Dec. 31, said Rebecca Raver, Vice President of Marketing at Bagger Dave?s. She said a second promotion will culminate in another $10,000 cash prize on March 31.
?Bagger Dave?s isn?t your ordinary burger joint. With our customizable burgers, craft drinks, and interior design details like local historical photos on the wall, we?ve created an entire experience with an authentic, comfortable feel,? said Raver. ?With ePrize’s capabilities, we?ve been able to launch a mobile loyalty and rewards program equally as personal. Now patrons can customize their in-store experience and rewards, all via mobile.?
Raver said Bagger Dave?s issued a Request For Proposal about nine months ago and received three bids, including one from ePrize. ePrize met Bagger Dave?s criteria, including great communicators that also are expert in loyalty marketing, she said. Being from Detroit was a plus.
?We value our customers and want to delight them,? Raver said. ?We want to create a guest space where our guests work with Bagger Dave?s to find value. We want to reward them and want them to be more of a partner than a customer.?
That?s what ePrize designed, said Rebecca Bolton, ePrize Senior Director of Strategy. The program will emphasize the fresh burgers, with up to 30 toppings, the craft beers, yet with a appeal to a family audience.
?We?ve made it a tool to drive customers to Bagger Dave?s – to keep them coming in and dining at this location. Bagger Dave?s is on the cutting edge of technology.?
