PORT HURON – The Michigan State University Center for Community and Economic Development, Economic Development Alliance of St. Clair County, and Sarnia Lambton Economic Partnership, in collaboration with numerous Michigan and Ontario partners, will host the first Bi-National Blue Water Regional Collaboration Conference Oct. 2.
Roy Norton, Consul General of Canada, will be the lunch and keynote speaker. His remarks will focus on Building U.S.-Canada Prosperity through Bi-National Regional Collaboration.
Concurrent panels will be offered throughout the day focusing on Bi-National Agri-Food Production, Green Chemistry Innovations, Strategic Approaches to Immigrant Attraction and Regional Logistics Solutions.
?The Michigan and Ontario region shares a wealth of resources and has much in common,? said Dan Casey, CEO of the Economic Development Alliance. ?The Conference will provide a forum for stakeholders to talk about opportunities to collaborate around areas of common interest, including regional marketing and transportation.?
