Dr. de la Iglesia is Chief Enterprise Officer of Michigan Technology & Research Institute. Dr. de la Iglesia retired from Parke-Davis/Pfizer as Vice President, Preclinical Worldwide Safety in 2000 after 34 years serving in several research and development management positions. In 2001, he co-founded Cambridge Biotechnology Corporation, a biotechnology pharmaceutical startup in Cambridge, England. In 2003, Dr. de la Iglesia co-founded QRxPharma Pty Ltd, a biopharmaceutical startup company in Brisbane, Australia and served as Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President of Research and Development.

Hooven is the Founder, and a Director of AtriCure, Inc. AtriCure is a Medical Device company that is focused on developing technology for Atrial Fibrillation (AF). Recently, AtriCure was recognized by Deloitte and Touche in their Fast 500 as the third fastest growing medical device company in North America.
