MIDLAND – The BlueWater Angels are hosting a Pitch Night April 19 at the Holiday Inn of Midland where five technology start-ups will seek private equity funding.
Angels are a group of high net worth individuals who recognize that capitalism is not a spectator sport. They participate as an investment network in seeking out, screening, investing in, and advising Michigan companies that show the greatest potential for growth.
Pitch Night consists of 5-minute elevator pitches by Mid-Michigan entrepreneurs / early stage companies who are interested in getting in front of private investors to secure their next step to growth capital. The program is funded and administered by the BlueWater Angels Investment Network with support from the Great Lakes Entrepreneurial Quest, the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center, MidMichigan Innovation Center and regional universities.
Beginning at 5:30pm, a networking reception with hors d?oeuvres & cash bar will immediately precede the entrepreneur presentations.
