TROY – Automation Alley, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce, is hosting a high-level business and government delegation from Sichuan, China, on April 3 that wants to meet with U.S. companies interested in selling their products into the China market or exploring joint-venture partnerships, technology licensing agreements, and collaborative R&D opportunities with leading manufacturers in Sichuan.

As the nation?s second largest province strategically located in south-central China, Sichuan is an industrial powerhouse whose major industries reflect the core strengths of Michigan?s economy. They include automotive, machinery/machine building, chemicals, electronics, food processing, and pharmaceuticals. Sichuan?s fast-growing economy is strongly demanding Michigan products, services and technologies related to these industries.
