ANN ARBOR ? Arboretum has added Mike Bunker to the investment team as a venture partner in Ohio.
Bunker has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry, both as an investor and in operating roles. Previously, he led healthcare venture investments for Early Stage Partners, one of Ohio?s leading venture capital firms. Bunker continues to manage his Early Stage portfolio while sourcing new deals for Arboretum.
Prior to his venture experience, Bunker held management positions at Medtronic and C.R. Bard. He led the global launch of an implantable defibrillator in Medtronic?s Cardiac Rhythm Management Division, and worked in the corporate development group responsible for strategic acquisitions and licensing. At C.R. Bard, he led strategic acquisitions and spearheaded the business development process at the beginning of the company?s most acquisitive time in history.
Mike earned a BS in Marketing from Miami University in Ohio and an MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University in Illinois.
