TROY- Healthcare IT company CareTech Solutions has signed a five-year outsourcing agreement with Yampa Valley Medical Center of Colorado to continue to maintain YVMC’s data center operations, applications and communications with physicians. No dollar value was provided.
The new outsourcing agreement, effective Oct. 1, continues CareTech Solutions’ longstanding relationship with YVMC, which began in January 2002.
“CareTech Solutions has proven to be a very valuable long term partner
in our pursuit of continuous quality improvement in the patient care we
deliver to our community,” said Karl Gills, Chief Executive Officer of
YVMC.
An independent community medical center, Yampa Valley Medical Center is
northwest Colorado’s only non-tax-based non-profit hospital. A volunteer
Board of Trustees provides governance. YVMC serves residents of a
six-county area in northwest Colorado and southern Wyoming as well as
visitors from around the world. The hospital provides 24-hour trauma care
in an emergency department that is staffed by six full-time emergency
medicine physicians.
With more than 60 board-certified physicians on its medical staff, YVMC
has 29 acute care beds, a 59-bed skilled nursing facility and a special
care nursery. Outpatient services include a full range of diagnostic and
laboratory services and a comprehensive rehabilitation and therapies at
SportsMed, located in the Justin DeSorrento Sports Medicine Center at YVMC
and clinics in Hayden, Oak Creek and Walden.
CareTech Solutions offers Information Technology services, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle services, Web Services products and services, CableCare structured cabling and wiring.
