This expansion of residential internet service for Casair is part of $26 million expansion focused on delivering high-speed broadband to the rural areas.

?Casair is actively installing new towers so even more rural areas can have affordable, fast wireless internet service,? said Casair owner Steve Meinhardt. He said new sites are coming online each week.

As a result of the growth, Casair added employees – 42 people now working on the project. Additionally, the company?s expansion includes developing a mix of 64 wireless sites, 400 miles of fiber optic cable and 14 new cell tower builds to service six counties throughout Mid and West Michigan.

Packages for the residential wireless service start at $39.95 for 1MB download speeds. Additional plans are $49.95 for 3MB download and $59.95 for 5MB downloads (where available). All Casair internet packages are unlimited, too, so there are no overage charges.

Established in 1987, Crystal Automation Systems, Inc. DBA: Casair, Inc. is a privately held provider of Internet and technology related services for commercial, anchor and residential customers in Mid-Michigan. The company was fostered out of the desperate need for affordable Internet and data transport options for rural schools, governments, public safety/911 centers, businesses and residents that have been neglected by the cable and telephone companies for years.

Casair uses a mix of cutting-edge technologies like licensed 4G wireless spectrum and fiber optics, along with redundant network operation centers, to deliver a robust, carrier class network. Casair also provides a variety of technology related services not readily available in its rural service areas such as turn-key police, ambulance and fire vehicle outfitting, computer repair, firewall sales and support, hosted and Cloud-based solutions, on and off site network management and IT managed services. The company operates in six counties in Michigan.
