Participants in the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan?s Global Executives Briefing Series will find out on Oct. 17 from the CIA?s venture capital firm, In-Q-Tel. Gayle von Eckartsberg, In-Q-Tel Vice President, will offer up a presentation called Strategic Technology Investment for the CIA and the Intelligence Community.
In-Q-Tel was founded in 1999 by the CIA to identify innovative technologies to support US intelligence, the company engages entrepreneurs, growth companies, researchers, and venture capitalists to deliver commercial technologies that provide superior capabilities that help make our nation safer.
In-Q-Tel has engaged with more than 90 companies and delivered more than 130 technology solutions to the Intelligence Community. Ms. von Eckartsberg shares insights into this highly effective and unique public-private sector partnership that is delivering innovation to the government.
