TROY – The Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation will be the fortunate beneficiary of funds raised by the 5th annual Midwest Technology Leaders 2009 gala cocktail reception, on June 3rd at the MGM Grand in Detroit.
A celebration of collaboration and commitment to the region’s expanding focus on technology, the reception follows the day-long MTL Symposium. It is an unrivaled networking event that will convene over 400 IT leaders and key members of the corporate, government and non-profit community to strongly support this important philanthropy.
The evening features a keynote address from Keith Cooley, President and CEO of NextEnergy, and a concluding address from Mike Brennan, President and CEO of United Way of Southeastern Michigan – an organization that exemplifies dedication to improvement of the State of Michigan and its residents.
Winners of the 2009 Michigan Collaboration and Corporate Commitment to Michigan awards will also be announced. Additionally, The Best of Show award will be given to the most innovative solution demonstrated at Techno Expo – a showcase of ten new, hot technology products created in the State of Michigan.
