GRAND RAPIDS ? On Nov. 13, Jay Hidalgo, creator of Demand Gen Coach, will discuss the pace of new technologies entering the market and how these new tools are affecting sales and marketing at the aimWest monthly meeting.

Hidalgo is President of The Barzel Group. He will address this technological onslaught by providing an overview of the types of tools available today, discussing how they may or may not be having an effective on marketing practices, and providing steps on how marketing and sales people can begin to determine their technology needs.

For 20 years, Hidalgo has helped enterprise, mid-market and small companies develop and build buyer research, demand generation, and lead management programs. He has been a frequent speaker at various conferences and seminars about demand generation and lead management, and is recognized as a thought leader in the industry. Prior to The Barzel Group, he co-founded and served as Chief Revenue Officer at ANNUITAS, a demand process firm. Jay has brought his expertise to companies such as Herman Miller, Ariba, NCR, Rubbermaid, X-rite and Pitney Bowes, among others.
