ROCHESTER ? Detroit EcoTuesday, a monthly networking event for professionals interested in green, clean and sustainable issues, is now hosted by the MI Green Team.
Former host, Jeremy Eckhouse of element-e, said he wanted to be able to continue the quality and level of the programming, but did not have enough time to do so.
?John (Batdorf) has the logistical support and staff to make EcoTuesday happen,? Eckhouse said. ?We need to be able to keep the sustainability, renewable energy and environment dialogue going.?
Batdorf, president of MI Green Team, said EcoTuesday is the type of organization MI Green Team was made for.
?We want to leverage the best quality programming and make connections among people about green issues,? he said. ?We want to work with the people who are making this happen. And Jeremy definitely did that with EcoTuesday.?
