DETROIT – Google has extended a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to its seven tech hubs throughout North America, including Detroit’s M@dison Block. Startups will have the incredible opportunity to travel to Silicon Valley to pitch Google and its investors. Deadline is Feb. 9.

This opportunity comes to Detroit through the Google for Entrepreneurs Tech Hub Network, which tech-training institute Grand Circus and the M@dison Block are part of. Each tech hub sends one startup to the competition, so Grand Circus is hosting a series of competitions to see who will represent downtown Detroit.

If this opportunity sounds like something you want to explore, here are the details:

1) Startups must apply online at http://grandcircus.co/google-demo-day by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday February 9

2) The public is invited to a public trade show on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Grand Circus from TIME to TIME where 15-20 semi-finalists will display their work. The public will pick their three favorites and the five top vote-getters will move onto the final round.

3) Five finalists will pitch their company to DVP, Invest Detroit and Bizdom on Wednesday February 26, 2014 to determine who will travel to GoogleHeadquarters in California.
