Dillon Appears To Defeat Recall

LANSING – The head of the recall effort against House Speaker Andy Dillon (D-Redford) has just said there appears no way for the recall to be successful.

Leon Drolet, executive director of the Michigan Taxpayer Alliance, said given the returns in the Republican enclaves of Dearborn Heights it appears Mr. Dillon had enough support to defeat the recall.

“I doesn’t look like we will be able to pull it out,” Drolet said.
