ROCHESTER – The Earth Day Expo will be held in downtown Rochester the weekend of April 18-19 to showcase the efforts of local business, non-profits and government to create a brighter, greener future for Michigan. Admission if free.
is expected to attract more than 50,000 people who will be able to discover healthy, earth-friendly alternatives in food, energy, transportation, clothing, home, garden, finances and more, said Expo Business Development Manager Steve Rogge.
“It’s our third year and the three previous years were were at Oakland University,” Rogge said. “Now we’ll be in downtown Rochester, where we’ll showcase 150 exhibitors and sponsors. Our mission is to promote Earth friendly products, services and initiatives from businesses serving Michigan and to support non-profit and local government environmental and wellness education efforts.”
The Earth Day Expo will provide a wide variety of fun and informative activities including:
