BIRMINGHAM. – The non-profit Entrepreneur and Investor Exchange opens its fall season of investment discovery forums September 13 at a new location, the Community House of Birmingham, with featured speaker Richard Sheridan, CEO of Menlo Innovations.
The entrepreneurial group had been meeting for the past several years at Fox & Hounds Restaurant in Bloomfield Hills.
Sheridan will explore Business Leadership Opportunities in a ?Flat World,? a term derived from Thomas Friedman?s best-selling book describing how our world is changing at a dizzying rate.
Others on the September 13th kickoff program include Richard W. Marks president of Environmental Transportation Solutions LLC (Grosse Pointe) and Terry L. Socall, president of the Business Success Group LLC (Troy). Marks is chief engineer of his company?s EcoV Electric car. The Business Success Group helps entrepreneurs craft their careers intelligently and develop businesses in the face of competition.
E&I Exchange chairman Fritz Spademan expects some 100 investors, entrepreneurs, service providers and exhibitors to attend.

Admission with reservations placed by September 12 is $20 for members of the E&I Exchange and the Money Finders, Inc., and for members of sponsoring organizations including Automation Alley, Local Business Network, Michigan Mall and Dykema Gossett PLLC. Non-member general admission with advance reservations is $25. Without reservations, admission is $5 more. The price includes appetizers, coffee and desserts.
