ANN ARBOR ? The deadline to enter the Entrepreneur YOU business plan competition ? open to female entrepreneurs who have or are planning to establish a business in Michigan, has been extended to Aug. 7.
Participants will submit entries in three competition levels: Women Owned or Led High Growth Businesses, Life Style Businesses and Social Enterprise.
Finalists will be announced August 15 and a pitch competition will determine the prize winners on September 24. Cash awards of $15,000 will be awarded to the winners in each category.
Great Lakes Entrepreneurs Quest is backing up the contest by providing coaches and mentors, said GLEQ Executive Director Diane Durance. The Fall GLEQ contest opens Aug. 26 with finalists competing at the ACE program at Burton Manor in Livonia Jan. 30, 2014.
