ANN ARBOR – The

Entrepreneurs Engage “unConference” brings together many of our

region’s most successful and visionary entrepreneurs and investors for

free-wheeling, multi-session discussions on ideas and initiatives to improve

our region’s ability to create and grow innovative new businesses.

The

invitation-only event was created and is co-hosted by U-M Tech Transfer and the

Michigan Venture Capital Association to provide opportunities for interactions

among highly qualified entrepreneurs and investors. As an unConference, the

agenda is determined at the event by the participants themselves. Through a

series of simultaneous sessions with topics offered during the event, participants

discuss and offer ideas to improve our entrepreneurial capacity and enhance our

region.

“The

Engage series is another example of how the University and the Michigan Venture

Capital Association are providing leadership to enhance the entrepreneurial resources

for the benefit of our region and our state,” said Ken Nisbet, U-M

associate vice president of research – technology transfer.
