YPSILANTI ? Valentine’s Day Feb. 14 also marks the launch of the $120 million Venture Michigan Fund II, which follows on the heels of the fully committed $95 million Venture Michigan Fund 1.

To make the launch, four private equity capital experts will host a press roundtable at the Eagle Crest Conference Center in Ypsilanti to talk about how these funds play a crucial role in attracting venture capital investments and helping fuel the state?s entrepreneurial climate.

VMF II is targeted to venture capital funds providing seed and early stage capital to Michigan companies in a wide variety of high growth, emerging industries including advanced manufacturing, health care and life sciences, information technology, alternative energy, and homeland security and defense.
