OAKLAND COUNTY ? A series of business development classes, featuring the nationally acclaimed FastTrac curriculum will be hosted by the Oakland County Business Center this August and September.

FastTrac Listening to your Business, NewVenture and Growth Venture Forward will be presented by the Michigan Small Business & Technology Center.

The day-to-day responsibilities of running your own business leave little time to focus on long-term visions, goals and strategies. Created for entrepreneurs, Listening to Your Business makes the most of the knowledge learned about your business and the limited time you have to make it better. This half-day seminar is August 27.

NewVenture is an intensive, 10-week program that helps you evaluate business opportunities and develop an action plan for owning your own business. Written by entrepreneurs for aspiring entrepreneurs, NewVenture offers essential business information to help you develop your entrepreneurial skills and build your business on a strong foundation. Classes begin September 7.

Growth Venture Forward is also an intensive, 10-week program designed for owners, CEOs and top management team members of businesses with at least two years of operating experience. Focused on issues most important to business health and growth, attendees gain knowledge to make critical decisions about their business and strategy, investigate next-stage growth and opportunity, plan for strategic growth, build and maintain a competitive advantage and maximize cash flow for profitability. New classes begin September 10.
