DETROIT – Leaders of faith-based organizations and other nonprofits in Detroit have a unique opportunity to learn about bootstrapping their finances through TechTown’s Faith-Based Business Forum.

Bacon is a seasoned financial professional with more than 25 years of experience in small business management and global corporate banking. He currently serves as the Director of Finance for TechTown.

As a partner with B2B CFO, the nation’s largest Chief Financial Officer firm serving entrepreneurial, growth and mid-market companies, Bacon provided part-time CFO services to his clients. Areas of expertise include developing and implementing business plans, creation of management and investor reports, focusing on product line and customer profitability, cash management, acting as a sounding board on key decisions to CEOs and coaching for a company’s accounting staff.

For 15 years prior to corporate ownership, Bacon enjoyed a career in global corporate banking, holding senior lending positions at ING Bank (London), SIB International Bancorp (an affiliate of Groupe Bruxelles Lambert) and Mellon Bank. Bacon also has extensive experience in project finance, LBO and structured finance, and interest rate management products.
