TROY – The Business Improvement Team announced that Mark Symonds, formerly CEO of Plex Systems, will serve as the keynote speaker at “Business Performance Improvement 3.0 Series” on Tuesday December 10. In addition, there will be a panel of business experts from the Business Improvement Team to answer business questions. This will be an exciting opportunity to network with peers.
Symonds grew and developed Plex Systems, the sole scale provider of Cloud ERP for manufacturers with Plex Online, a true single-source, multi-tenant SaaS solution. Plex provided software to run all aspects of manufacturing enterprises from small shops to global companies. With virtually no outside
capital, Plex took on behemoths SAP, Oracle and others to disrupt the well-established business software market. The culture at Plex and their operational strategies allowed them to maintain a 6-year annual growth rate of nearly 30 percent. After engineering a successful buyout Symonds is coaching and
mentoring fledgling new tech startups.
