GRAND RAPIDS ? Fourth Friday will host George Bosnjak, Business Development Manager of The Right Place, on Oct. 23 for a breakfast meeting at 7:30 am to discuss West Michigan Economic Trends, State Incentive Programs and Regional Programs.
Bosnjak is the former Executive Director of the Grand Haven Main Street Downtown Development Authority. Bosnjak, who has a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in public administration, urban and regional planning and policy from Grand Valley State University, joined the Grand Haven DDA in 2005.
During his tenure, he led the organization to complete the first phase of a $3.3 million public improvement project and increased membership by 50 percent. At the Right Place Inc. He has assisted in the creation of over 1,500 jobs and over 65 million in private investment in West Michigan with companies including Bissell and Global Forex. Bosnjak is also a former board member of the West Michigan Strategic Alliance and a current board member of AIM West.
