GRAND RAPIDS ? The Right Place Program’s Fourth Friday monthly power breakfast meeting on Sept.22 will provide tips from the working press on how your company can get news coverage.
We?ll explore questions such as: What makes something newsworthy? What constraints do those in the media work under? How do we get them interested in OUR story? What are the biggest ?do?s and don?ts? when seeking coverage? How do their deadlines differ? What?s the best way to contact them? Will they honor an ?embargoed? news release?
You can get answers to these questions from a panel representing Print, Broadcast, and Electronic press.
The panel includes:
Mike Brennan, Editor & Publisher, MITechNews.Com
Mark Fellows, Michigan Business Review
Chris Knape, The Grand Rapids Press
Peter Ross, WZZM 13 Television
Matt Roush, Great Lakes IT Report
