ANN ARBOR ? The deadline to enter the fall Great Lakes Entrepreneur’s Quest business-plan contest has been moved to Oct. 29 to accommodate student teams.
?The AMIC student teams weren’t informed whether they were finalists by our original deadline of October 15, so we extended our deadline to give them (and others) a chance to participate,? said GLEQ Executive Director Diane Durance.
The elevator pitch part of the competition, once again, will be held at the Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship (ACE). But for the first time in a decade, ACE will leave Ann Arbor and be held at the much bigger Burton Manor in Livonia. ACE had shifted to Ann Arbor?s Skyline High School several years ago, but outgrew that venue.
