GRAND RAPIDS ? Two new managers have joined Great Lakes Health Connect, a provider of health information exchange in Michigan.

Brian Mack is manager of marketing and communications and Rick Stankiewicz is senior manager of technical operations and support. Together they will support the growth of GLHC information technology solutions to provide improved patient coordination across various health care providers.

?Our growth as an organization requires us to continue innovating and to launch communication strategies about those innovations,? said Doug Dietzman, GLHC executive director. ?Both Brian and Rick will help us do that.?

Mack has nearly 25 years? experience in marketing management. He has led communication efforts across various business sectors, primarily in geriatric health, long-term care and family medicine. More recently, Mack drove marketing strategy for a web and mobile application developer focused on managing chronic illness. Mack lives in Grand Rapids.

Stankiewicz brings over 30 years? experience as an information technology advisor across government, finance, software services and health care sectors. Most recently he was senior program manager at First Care Health Plans, where he assisted in implementing health information exchange for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). His previous experience included the management of information technology strategy, solution development, enterprise architecture and budget management. Stankiewicz resides in Grand Rapids.
