ANN ARBOR – Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association, the host of the June Michigan Renewable Energy Fair, has partnered with the Indiana Renewable Energy Association to expand the reach of the Energy Fair in the Great Lakes.

The Fair June 26 ? 27 at the Ingham County Fairgrounds in Mason features free workshops, hands on activities for children and adults, music, food and fun. The purpose of the fair is to take the mystery out of energy for the average person and learn better methods of producing energy on a small or large scale.

In its 15th year serves, the Fair has become a fun way for individuals and families, communities, municipalities and businesses to learn about energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable living. The fair also features a lottery scholarship drawing for high school graduates entering higher education in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math.
