GRAND RAPIDS – Franco Bianchi, President and CEO of Haworth Inc., will join the Davenport University Board of Trustees, effective October 2012.
As CEO since 2005, Bianchi oversees and directs the performance of Haworth?s global operations, comprised of Haworth North America, Haworth Europe, Haworth Asia Pacific and Groupe Lacasse.

During his 17 years with Haworth, Bianchi also has served as Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Global Product Lines Management/Marketing, Vice President of Finance for Haworth North America Contract Furniture, and in a variety of roles for Haworth?s European operations, including General Manager of Haworth Italy.
He is a graduate of Bologna University in Bologna, Italy, a chartered public accountant, and has served in the military for NATO.
