FRANKENMUTH – Saginaw Future Inc. will be celebrating its 17th Annual Business Meeting to be held at the Bavarian Inn Lodge and Conference Center on Feb. 20 when Rick Doornbos, President and CEO of Hemlock Semiconductor will be the guest speaker.
Herbert Spence III, 2008 SFI Chairman, and 2009 SFI Chairman Bill Huss will also be featured.
What’s more, Saginaw Future will be honoring 30 local companies for investing more than $1.1 billion in Saginaw County in 2008, and creating and retaining 2,254 jobs.
Locate at the Source is this year’s theme, which refers to the advantages of locating at the source of solar technology and opportunities in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Three solar related projects, with more than $1 billion invested, were launched in Saginaw County.
