ANN ARBOR – Serial entrepreneur Jim Price, founder of CompanyCrafters, will explain on Thursday how start ups can generate high-impact marketing at the next training session in the Great Lakes Entrepreneur’s Quest business-plan writing contest.

Effective Marketing, part of the GLEQ’s Business Commercialization program for entrepreneurs,addresses the issue that causes more technology startups to fail than any other: the lack of strong marketing and sales. Price will take a systematic look at how technology businesses can employ proven marketing strategies and techniques to position themselves for successful market entry, predictable sales growth and long-term success.

The training session is scheduled for May 4 from 6-8 pm at SPARK Central, the former Ann Arbor IT Zone Launchpad in downtown Ann Arbor. Admission is free, but pre registration is required. You can register online at GLEQ.Org
