TROY – Join Automation Alley for a panel discussion on health care IT on February 17.
As more and more health care providers are adopting electronic charts and integrated electronic health record software, a substantial amount of patient data will be required to travel among organizations using digital channels. If proper security measures are not taken through policies, standards and practices, patient privacy could be jeopardized. But with the recently passed health care law, there is much more that needs to be addressed.
Panelists include Joe Dylewski of ATMP Solutions; Brian Balow of Dickinson Wright PLLC; Michael Talley of South East Michigan Health Information Exchange; and Duane Baldwin of Manpower Security Practice. The event will be facilitated by Pradip Sengupta of IPS Technology Services.
The event will be held Thursday, February 17 at Automation Alley?s Headquarters. Registration begins at 3:00 p.m.; the program and networking will take place from 3:30 ? 5:30 p.m. The pre-registration price for members is $10 and $15 for non-members. The at-the-door cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
