GRAYLING – Join Private Lands Wildlife Biologist Brian Piccolo, Michigan Department of Natural Resources, during the Au Sable Expo on April 26 for an introduction on how to make one’s private property more wildlife friendly.
Piccolo will present Landscaping and Managing Your Property for Wildlife at 3 p.m. in the Oak Room at the Ramada Inn-Grayling.
The Expo will be held at Ramada Inn-Grayling on Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26, as a part of the Up North Experience. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. while Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Special presentations will be held throughout the day on both Saturday and Sunday.
This presentation will range from landscaping the backyard using eco-friendly techniques to performing more intensive management on woodlots for wildlife habitat. Piccolo will give an overview of various practices private landowners can employ to provide habitat for a variety of wildlife and to make one�??s property more wildlife friendly.
