DETROIT ? NextUP, a specialized leadership development program for high-potential women early in their careers, will be offered in both Southeast and West Michigan in February 2013 by the Inforum Center for Leadership. Applications due December 6.

The program is designed to help women overcome traditional roadblocks and achieve early and enduring success in a new assignment or job. Candidates must have two to six years of overall work experience, entering a new industry or function, or are about to move into a new position or level in the organization.

Southeast: February 4, February 25, March 18

West Michigan: February 6, February 27, March 20

Executive Leadership prepares managers and directors to drive results by creating a focused and energized team. It is a highly personalized and interactive program for high-achieving women to develop their executive leadership capabilities. These are women on the cusp of breaking into senior management and interested in honing their executive leadership skills.

Candidates have 8-12 years of management experience, are self-motivated, and committed to a long-term focus on personal leadership development. They are enterprise-wide leaders who are facing intense competitive pressures, market-related challenges, or major internal, organizational changes.

Inforum Center for Leadership, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, is the education and research arm of Inforum. ICL programs serve a broad range of professional women at different stages and types of careers – from emerging leaders, to high-potential executives, entrepreneurs, and corporate board leaders.
