KALAMAZOO – InterCom, a Kalamazoo-based association of professional communicators, continues its 20th season with a luncheon presentation on April 3 that will provide a primer for social networking. Reservations are required by March 31.
The presentation – The New Rules – Zero Cost Marketing and PR Through Social Networking, with John Clark from Wow Web Works – will take place from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Kalamazoo Regional Chamber of Commerce Building at 346 W. Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo. Networking and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m., and the presentation begins promptly at noon.
This seminar will help you understand the new playing field and appreciate the tools now at your disposal. Most people are still missing it, and that’s good? for you.
Space is limited and lunch reservations are required by March 31st. Guests are welcome and visitors are encouraged. Box lunches are available for both non-members and at a reduced price for InterCom members (participants may also bring their own lunch).
Founded in 1989, InterCom is a private non-profit organization that promotes a diverse membership and provides for the professional growth of its members. It offers lively, informal programs on current topics in the communication profession monthly from September through April. InterCom also offers a number of other member benefits, and the organization hosts the Golden Word Awards on May 21st.
