TROY – The Money Finders is looking to introduce qualified angel investors to the developers of a patented hybrid turbocharger that instantly boosts the acceleration of small displacement car and truck engines by more than 30 percent, which can help cars merge onto busy freeways, and pass on two-lane roads more safely.

This electrically driven add-on performance booster pressurizes and pre-conditions engine induction air, helping small capacity engines deliver large engine acceleration. Smaller engines are popular again because of their naturally lower fuel consumption and improved emissions. Now, drivers can retain these advantages without sacrificing the exhilaration and safety of large-engine on-demand power.

The patented add-on hybrid turbocharger is lightweight, easy to install, maintenance-free, non-polluting and affordable by the 18-to-35 year old enthusiasts who currently spend $4 to $5 billion per year on aftermarket performance products. The new hybrid turbocharger is targeted to sell for under $3,000. A conventional aftermarket turbo kit for a small car can cost up to $7,500 installed.

Aftermarket sales will (1) create consumer excitement by showcasing the system?s performance, packaging and cost advantages, (2) help convince new car makers to offer this system on gasoline-powered, E-85 and hybrid-electric sedans, SUV?s and light trucks, (3) demonstrate the system?s advantages for law enforcement and military vehicles. The global marketplace potential appears explosive. Reportedly, China will import 130,000 engine turbochargers this year alone in government efforts to control fuel consumption and emissions while making small car performance acceptable to an exponentially expanding consumer base.

A $250,000 investment will fund a six-month effort to equip demo cars and showcase them to aftermarket wholesalers and retail chains, to performance fan mass media, and to key industry figures. Additional funding will be sought to launch production in Michigan.
