LANSING – Joe the Plumber Wurzelbacher, who first hit the public eye when he openly discussed small business tax policy with presidential candidate Barack Obama during last fall’s election, will be the featured speaker at SBAM’s 40th annual meeting and networking luncheon in East Lansing on June 18.

Wurzelbacher will share his story of how one question has not only changed his life, but also put small business on center stage in America. The self marketer is an author, speaker and blogger. He also hosts the secureourdream.com website that focuses on providing non-governmental solutions to America’s problems.

SBAM’s annual meeting, whose theme is We Can Fix Michigan, will be held from 11:30 a. to 1:30 p.m. at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center. Tickets are $35 each or a table of eight for $250. Prices after June 4 are $45 for a single ticket or $325 for a table.
