DETROIT – Lawrence Technological University is conducting a survey to identify the availability of, and gaps in, resources needed by individuals that are crucial to spur innovation, entrepreneurship and new business creation in Michigan and the Great Lakes Region. The survey deadline is June 15.

Sponsored by the U.S. Commerce Department, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) Needs Assessment Survey is looking for participation by displaced workers, entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers, small business owners, venture capitalists, corporate R&D, and business support organizations.

Through a carefully constructed series of questions, The I & E Survey aims to gauge your opinion regarding a variety of initiatives to foster an “innovation ecosystem? that will support innovation and entrepreneurship in Michigan. Your responses are needed so that we can craft recommendations and proactive procedural steps regarding this consequential issue.

Participation in the survey is estimated to take between 15- 20 minutes to complete. You will be provided with an option to enter your contact information at the end of the survey, for potential participation in an in-depth follow-up interview or focus group meeting.
